The Boy (2011) was Chanel's edgier flap — a boxy shape, a chunky chain, and a push-lock instead of the CC turn-lock — and for a decade it was the second-most-resold Chanel after the Classic Flap. Since 2022 Chanel has produced far fewer Boy bags and it has largely disappeared from boutiques, which has kept used prices firm for the popular sizes even as the style has become less of a trend piece.
